  What version of Vista you have?
  
  The basic version of Vista is quite OK, doesn't use so much RAM. The better versions are RAM suckers. 2GB may not be enough.
  
  You can try defragmenting your hard disk to see if it improves speed.

  ahh thanks tat helps, its faster now.
  
  i couldn't find the defragment tool on vista, had to use the search bar. LOL. i still prefer to use XP.
