Suddenly I can't login.

  I can't login to a couple forums and at least one online game. I was at the game this morning but this afternoon it wouldn't let me back on. My browser/cookies remembers my user name and password but I have to type in a code that they show...i do that, click login, and it tells me there was a problem because I'm not logged in..I get nowhere.
  
  At one of the forums I click 'login' and it takes me to a page that says "congratulations, you have successfully signed in", and then takes me back to the login page, not logged in!
  
  I have the default FireFox cookies setting which allows all of them and keeps them til they expire...I deleted the temporary internet files, cookies, and restarted my comp but it still does the same thing.....any ideas?

  Make sure that IE and Firefox are closed when cleaning.
  
  Also, I'm curious. Did you just change your ISP? Or did your ISP mention anything about them upgrading or changing?

  I ran ATF-Cleaner.exe and restarted...it does the same thing. I have the same ISP that I've had for quite a while. There's been no upgrades or changes that I'm aware of.

  Hmm...
  
  Try this in Command Prompt:
  
  1. Start > Run and type in cmd and press Enter to start Command Prompt.
  
  2. Type in ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
  
  3. Type in exit and press Enter to close Command Prompt.
  
  Then see if you still have problems logging in to forums or online games.

  ok, i tried that...
  
  when I type in cmd and press ok a window comes up.
  
  when I type in ipconfig /flushdns and press ok a window comes up just for an instant and disappears.
  
  when I type in exit and press ok I get an error message: Windows can not find 'exit'. Make sure you typed the name correctly...blah blah blah
  
  I click the X in the command window to exit.
  
  tried to get on the forum and the game again after that without any luck.

  lol u can try this...your last hope or something
  
  change the network adapter (u use for internet connection) mac address and restart your modem. you should be assigned a new IP. applies to dynamic IP ISP. try to login again
  
  or u can try to wait a day or 2 and login again

  I figured out what the problem is, a cookie setting in my firewall. It was expiring them immediately after receipt. I changed the setting to expire cookies after 1 day and I got on the web sites without any problem.
