i can't see chinese correctly in a chinese text file, i've tried changing the language settings to taiwan and china chinese but it still doesn't work.
there was another chinese txt file where i copy and paste the text into the njstar chinese wp i can see the chinese correctly....but for this one it doesn't work.
what do i do???
1. Open the file.
2. Click on File > Save As
3. In the Encoding drop-down list, try saving it as Unicode. Type in another name for the file to prevent it from being overwritten in case this method doesn't work.
4. Click Save.
Then open the file to see if you can read it.
open it in your browser (IE/firefox). If the characters look werid, try changing the encoder (View-> Encoding -> More -> East Asian).
