Fully Format a HDD

i'm selling away my HDD.. so I dont want other ppl to recover my files. any software i can use to fully format my HDD(not external)?

You can try a low level format. I have to warn though, it can damage a hard disk. Either that, find a program that will overwrite it several times. -

aiya.. nothing is very safe. someone might have invented a program which scans VERY VERY VERY x 1000 deeply into the harddisk and extracts data but chances is very very very very very slim. best to keep it for yourself though

If you really don't want anyone to access your data, the safest is to keep it to yourself, as nowsaday hard disk price is really cheap. -

You can't burn metals the normal way. They have a high melting point. -

No idea. In fact, those developers aren't from China if I'm not wrong. Mostly Europe, that's why their names sound a bit.
