Window XP Product Key problem

  hey, recently i had jus reformatted my pc, then today i wanted to update it
  and i notice the product key has some problem validating. and i want to change the product key, must i reformat the whole thing again or is there a way for me jus change the product key?

  i heard there's a software that could change the CD key without reinstalling again. is it true?

  yes....its a crack actually...so obviously its not legal.

  Anyway I presume ur XP is original and installed on its original hardware....then why not just call MS/compaq and let them solve it for U?

  There's not even a need for software. Go to MS Support site and they list out all the steps for you.

  i have a key grabber, and key changer.
