Help needed. What hardware am i using?

  I recently format one laptop of mine. Then i forget to take note what hardware i am using. Now my computer cannot detect the network adapter (ethernet card). How am i going to figure it out?
  
  I cannot find any drivers recovery disc as well for the laptop. I cannot find any disk.
  
  I am connecting to the internet using another computer.

  call up your laptop manufacturer n ask them for the driver disk...
