Oh man, this problem is getting me frustrated.
I can't seemed to log into MSN, citing 80048820 error, extended code 8004840f.
And not just that - I cannot seemed to log into hotmail/yahoomail or even blogger as it will just redirect me into a blank page, stating that IE cannot find the page.
I have tried:
Synchronising the date time.
Clearing all cookies, histories, temp internet files, etc.
And all Mayi's suggestion. Nothing works.
Anybody else who has any idea on how to resolve this?

The problem I can still surf internet and stuff. Just that when it comes to login MSN and those few sites, I just can't.
This problem creeps up shortly after MSN forced me to download the latest version. I have no problem previously and have no done any downloading, other than this new version.
Therefore, I don't think it's anything to do with Firewall.

It happened to me around 4am. I could not log into all my msn accounts.
I think it is just server problem.
Or did you visited this website before? -
sometimes my msn cant login after my computer hangs. it works after awhile. did your comp hang often?

Or did you visited this website before? No, it's not the MSN server problem. I can log during work in office.
It's something wrong with my computer, in which I cannot pin point wth is problem and rectify it.

erm maybe an error or sth? can you log in to other programs such as gaming accounts?

If your comp is connected to a router, the router's time zone setting must match that of your comp. So if your comp is set to singapore time zone, so must the router.

Off your router which you have might have been leaving it on from the first day since you bought it. Leave it offed for at least 10 mins and turn it back on again.

hmmm... I last time also have some of the sites blocked from accessing due to some nasty trojans.
I used ParetoLogic XoftSpy to scan and remove the trojan. Maybe you can try it.
Also you may try Trend Micro™ CWShredder as well.
