I thought the ISPs don't keep HTTP request logs? I mean, they will need tons of HDDs to keep those logs.

if you stream using ie, you can look for the file in your internet temporary files folder. but it only works for some site dunno why.

ISPs may not keep, but servers do. If they are set to.

But I don't think they will spend the effort to seize an overseas server just to prosecute against a downloader. Besides, they may get into trouble with privacy laws if the server is located in countries like US, or even better, Sweden.
