Writing a new wiki page?

Thanks to RP fac, I'm now stuck with it.
How do I go about creating a new wiki page?
My wiki has already been set up, but I couldn't find a way to write a page.
http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Starting_a_new_pageTo start a new page, you can click a link to the new page. This takes you to edit mode of the non-existing blank page, which allows creation.
Dumb question, what does this mean? -
you tech pro you don't know...
first you need an account....
then, go to link
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
that link..... you do this > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/(TYPE A PAGE NAME HERE/anything)
voila.

Ahem, tech pro doesn't mean know everything hor. I've never dabbled with wiki before.
Anyway, I don't need Wikipedia account, I got one on my own server. The problem is how to use it? -

If you want to start a new page, u must find the damn link that to the new page(which is not created, so i dunno where is the link), maybe is the create new page link, edit mode of the non-existing blank page, which allows creation.
means when u click on the link, it brings u to the mode that lets u create a new page -

hmmz i think you might as well jsut go wiki and take a look.
last i saw they have quite substansive help on how to add pages/entries and also online community there to help pple.

She's probably toying with one copy of the software that powers Wikipedia. Let me try upload one copy as well and test it out.

Once that one is working, my FYP can start liao. Because all documentation is done on wiki.

very simple.
you can use a word you like as long as the word/name of article haven't been published.
for eg, there isn't any page on SGF yet, so you could go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ [ type in "sgf"/"sgforums" here ]
from there, there are instructions. and im already simplifying this le. . .
if u still dun understand then good luck. -
dunno if u have tried this method.
1) type in the word u wanna find (which is not found on wiki).. (let's say, sgforums)
2) click on the "create this page" (see image)
3) put some text there
4) save page

Yup, like what SpadeTwo has mentioned - append the name of the page you would like to create to the directory URL of your wiki. So if mine's here:
http://localhost/lab/wiki/mediawiki-1.11.0/index.php/
And if I want to create a page named "Mayi", I will access the page like this:
http://localhost/lab/wiki/mediawiki-1.11.0/index.php/Mayi
Then they will display something like:
http://dl.latecomerx.com/images/Screenshot_2007-10-04_22-06-36.jpeg
From there, just click on "Edit" to add content to the page lo. -

Exact page you can't access because you need a staff or student ID to log in and edit the wiki.
