what are the main causes that make the comp hang at this point?
i just now also kena stuck but i switched the main power off/on and it works liao. -
mine is abit different, when reach there, mine will hang.....then after a while, it skip and load windows
sumtimes when reach the DMI thing, it will say sucess, and after that my mouse will not work, need to restart

DMI is Desktop Management Interface.
It's a layer between the hardware and software that manages them (the software is your operating system like Windows, Mac or Linux).
If it hangs, it means that data couldn't pass successfully to the OS.
One reason this happens is a bad hardware or new hardware.
Most likely a hard disk error. Find out who's your hard disk manufacturer, go to their website and do a diagnostic test for your hard disk.
If it's a new hardware, make sure that the hardware settings are configured correctly. Also check the CMOS settings to make sure that it's loaded correctly.
If it doesn't work, reset your CMOS. Refer to your motherboard for a guide.
