comp hangs bsod

  occasionally my comp hangs and this bsod appears for less den a sec and my comp restarts. B4 that it wud make a buzzing sound. this bsod supposedly says that hardware or software wasnt installed properly i guess, im not too sure? i have tried replugging in my hardware but the problem still comes back. what can i do? it kind irritates me if im doing sth impt or when im gaming and i hang and irritate other ppl in d game.

  Stop it from restarting and type out the full error code.
  
  To stop it, do this:
  
  1. Right click on My Computer and select Properties.
  
  2. Select the Advanced tab.
  
  3. Under Startup and Recovery, click on the Settings button.
  
  4. Under System Failure, untick this box: Automatically restart.
  
  5. Click OK all the way and apply the settings.

  i have finally found out that its:
  STOP: 0x0000009C (0x00000004, 0x00000000, 0xb2000000, 0x00020151)
  "MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION"
  
  i have checked that i did not run my comp beyond its capablilities or clockspeed, neither is my fan not working. wad do i do now?
  
  in addition, it usually bsod when im gaming, more often during wc3 while during cs its rare. in a short 1 hour i can bsod 3 times in wc3 dota.

  I noticed that you've edited your post. And a search matched that of MS KB article. I will take it as it's a coincidence that the error matches with the MS KB article.
  
  1. Run memory test. http://www.memtest.org/
  
  2. List out your specs, in details.
  
  a. Processor Brand + speed (e.g. Pentium 4 3GHz)
  b. Motherboard brand + model number
  c. Power Supply wattage + brand (e.g. CoolerMaster 400W)
  d. Graphics card brand + model number

  i searched d net and probably its my registry errors ? but those softwares i find require a purchase. wouldnt all this problems be gone if i reformat the comp instead? its really getting on my nerves when im gaming and the bsod appears.

  If the website is using Java or Flash, it will hang temporary as Windows tends to be slow on them.
