Retrieving data from windows 3.1 to windows XP

  If it has a large amount of data that needs to be transferred, better get more diskettes just in case.

  Not very long, agar agar will take you 1 day.
  
  Or a faster way, wipe it out with Linux then install Vista.
  
  Provided that the system can handle Vista.
