USB Wireless

  hi,
  
  I have a lounge , and decided to make the entire bar through to the lounge and retail area outside to be entirely wireless.
  
  Now my question is , I have 3 computers. 1 is the cashier computer with Retail software connected to it , 1 is solely for accounts and the other is for.. casual use =P
  
  Now instead of using normal network cables , can i buy 2 USB wireless and have them transfer files like a network cable'd computer ? Or does the wireless go through the modem router to connect to the other USB wireless ?

  you can connect thru LAN
  
  under the shared folders if i'm not wrong
