That website that allen gives is good, but it has a bad side as well. allen knows it, I know it.
Another way to try is to use Tor or Privoxy.
http://www.privoxy.org/
http://tor.eff.org/
But beware of Tor. There's a nice vulnerability out there. If you just use it for surfing, then it's OK. Don't send sensitive data around.

just had alot of spyware, pop up, just switch on your firewall, and i don't want to explain too much on what is that website is about, it is for you to find out,
