i lazy go compare, fren ask me to check
budget RM3000, so in SGD is around make it SGD1600.
prefer fujitsu, vaio, or any other brand.
max is 14"
no gaming or with gaming i also dont knw.
but no acer and compaq.

Also can try Packard Bell or NEC. -

With your budget, acer or compaq will be the way to go.You should be able to get a core 2 duo with acer with the budget.
As for fugitsu or vaio, i don't think the budget can squeeze unless you want to get the low end vaio. -
