deleting icon on destop

it keeps saying 'The action can't be completed because the folder is open in another program Close the folder and try again.'
is there way to find out what program is using this folder? -
window 95 = cannot delete my computer.
window XP = can delete everything including my computer but only recycle bin cannot delete

think it's under the control panel.....

perhaps u didn't close the program properly that you are running previously before u want to delete the folder.

try this:
go command prompt, enter this command
rmdir \\.\\Documents and Settings\\Desktop\ -
What folder are you trying to delete?

some .zip folder, i think i use daemon tools and mount it... then i dunnoe how to remove it...
and now inside 'my computer' there is 2 extra cd-drive, also dunnoe how to remove... gg -
tried restarting ur pc ?

And to remove the extra virtual drives, configure the number of drives accordingly through the right-click menu of its tray icon.
