  4GB only around $50.
  
  It's cos 8GB very few chips available so supply limited, plus no many manufacturers mass producing it yet, so it commands a premium.
  
  Wait till 16GB come out in 1-2 years' time, then 8GB will drop to $50-$70.

  I got a 7 GB thumbdrive at SLS for $19, some weird brand though.
  
  There was a webcam on Digital Life - 1.3 megapixel and between...can't remember the price. Should be $40 - $50.
  
  As for speakers, I got a pair of Creative 2.0 speakers five years ago for $10. Decent enough for me, not for audiophiles and avid gamers. They are still working now.

  thought it only comes in 256, 512, 1gb, 2gb, 4gb, 8gb etc

  I just bought a 4gb last month. Cant' remember how much it cost. But it cost too much.
  
  Transfer seems slower than my old 2gb which I lost.

  Few months back I bought a 8gb mp3/mp4 player.
  
  Looks like ipod nano, plays mp3, vid, got radio, record, etc.
  
  Cost me $145 online inc shipping. Now im selling it off for $100.
