Vista can't see Administrator user. No matter what buttons you press. See Kenneth's Vista thread to activate the Admin user. But since he can't log in, I doubt if he could even activate it.Originally posted by LatecomerX:
Anyway, tikam abit la. Sometimes, the default user is not deleted when the system is sold to a consumer. Try entering admin/admin, admin/ or administrator/ as the username/password and see if you are able to sign in.

And those freaking dealers always have some weird passwords... seems like some internal generated password... all PCs different... not the common ones (I tried the common passwords cracking method before...)![]()
Vista's Administrator does not equal to AdministratorOriginally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:Vista can't see Administrator user. No matter what buttons you press. See Kenneth's Vista thread to activate the Admin user. But since he can't log in, I doubt if he could even activate it.

I wonder if Safe Mode will show the Admin user?Originally posted by kenn3th:when there's a will, there's a way.
For HP's laptops, you just need to press f11 when you are booting up to go to the recovery softwarethen you just do recovery, reformat, and then setup!
you do not needa login at all and you can change the password
Ya I know.Originally posted by kenn3th:Vista's Administrator does not equal to Administrator

But i think billgates should go back to the dealer.Originally posted by ndmmxiaomayi:I wonder if Safe Mode will show the Admin user?
XP will show the Admin user, not sure for Vista.
If it shows, tell him go Safe Mode, log in to Admin and delete away the user and create another one.![]()
Yeah...Originally posted by kenn3th:But i think billgates should go back to the dealer.
