CPU cooling fan and heatsink.

Before = 27 degrees ( CPU temperature )
After = still the same.
I'm using Intel Core™2 Quad 4600 and original heatsink/fan that comes with the box. I notice that the temperature is a little too high so I bought Coolmaster Hyper TX-2. After installing and bootup my pc, the temperature still same wor. Shouldnt it suppose to be lower since the TX-2 heatsink made of copper plus alluminium?
Spend so much $$$ to tseng my pc end up no improvements.

When I'm playing games like Counter Strike or Brothers In Arms, the temperature for the cpu goes up to 39 degress cel. I want to lower it to around 30. Some of my friends also bought Asus or Coolermaster air cool heatsink and all did record a lower temperature for the cpu. Some drop as much as 10 cel. But mine hor, didnt drop leh. You want it to drop, get liquid nitrogen. But ar... either it burns you or your motherboard or both. It's not cheap anyway.

Ask where they do their test. A lot of people do tests in very extreme environments to prove something, that most people in the real world probably have no money for it.
One example is ODEX. They say shows are of good quality, only if you use X inch LCD TV. -

how ur fren cpu temperature maintain at 10 degree? or l0 lesser than urs?
by right singapore temp is about 26-34 degree....
even u using cpu in air con room.... ur cpu heat temperature will be min 18degree at non load temperature.
if u using at room temperature it should be 26-30 degree at non load condition.
