I think MS Office 2007 Student and Teacher Edition is not that expensive (though of course it depends on your definition of expensive. I'm not sure of the price though. $200-250?

You can try finding a pirated disc of Office 2003 and then head to www.serialz.to to find the serial number for the program

mine had keygen.. and even can authenticate.. i went n authenticate den pass summore lol.. so i haf a 'genuine' copy lol.. k i noe im not supposed to be boasting abt these kind of 'achievement'.. -
