Thanks for everyone's help.
My date and time are correct.
as for
- In the Registry Editor, in the left pane, click the following registry key:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SymNRT\LTM
- Press Delete, and then click Yes to confirm the deletion.
yes.
Wait.
You delete the bolded part ONLY.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SymNRT
Not the whole thing. Windows will not start after you delete the whole thing.
Another better idea.
Download and install Google Pack. Google Pack consists of Norton Security Scan.
After that, try uninstalling Norton Security Scan, followed by Google Pack. There's no need to edit registry, find files to delete, etc.
And it's much more safer.

Thanks for informing. Does that include the LTM part?

Delete that and LTM will be gone as well...
Why not try the easy way first? Tinkering with Windows registry is risky.

Yes. Just select Norton from the Google Pack and download and install it.
Restart your computer, then remove Norton.

Hmmm... i encountered some problems while installing norton security scan through google updater.

The program didn't state what's the problem actually. So i clicked "learn more" and 3 options were given. The first option is to install it through norton's install wizard. The second option is to fix it later. The third option is to not install the program.
I clicked the first option and it led me to the installation. However, a problem occured.

I had no idea what's internal error 2753.Nss.exe. I clicked ok and the program just mentioned that the installation ended prematurely.
How about try this. Delete the whole Norton system scan installed folder on your hard disk. Then try to reinstall again through google updater again.
