  if u want to try google chrome but dont want mutiple googleupdate.exe running in the background .. u can install the offline version here without google update

  anyone has problems trying to uninstall it? i click uninstall at both the "remove/add programs" there, and the program itself de uninstaller..

  no response when I click the uninstall..

  As far as I know, there's no Adblock.

  And as far as Google is concerned, blocking their ads is a no-no.

  I doubt its still stable yet, most likely they will do more fine tuning to it & it will be much better..

  I believe its just statistical information? Nothing about what we're surfing is being sent to their HQ right..?

  i rather use opera than google chrome after i installed it...the newspaper article was really tempting though..

  Actually a browser should be lightweight, fast, and simple. Just to allow you to browser websites fast, securely...why people ask about Ad Block etc etc? All these are redundent...

  You know how much ads can slow down your browsing?

  They are not text ads... text ads basically have not much impact...

  Flash, images do.

  I for one, will not use Chrome, will stick to Firefox
