M1 contract ...

  I've got a question , I recently just had a contract and got myself a blackberry . But now that Iphone 4 is here , i want to sign a contract to get it . But my current contract hasnt reach 11months yet ... Can i cancel my current contract to get the new Iphone 4 ?

  once you break the current contract, you will be penalised... it is all written in your contract...

  hence, wait abit longer lah... ( at 11 months, you may even get a equipment-loyalty discount ).

  For singtel, you can sign a new contract over riding the current one, of course the timer resets, but you pay a hefty penalty of 300 bucks, compared to 100 bucks if more than a year finished.

  Me! That's why I signed 2 contracts, each nicely timed so that when the fad begins, one contract is already over 12 months.

  1 for myself, 1 for the wife. Just nice, the contract I used to sign the 3GS last year is past a year just next week. The contract I had just renewed was used to obtain the galaxy s.

  For Singtel, you have an option to upgrade your contract (to a more expensive one of course) and you do not have to pay a single cent. However, for handset upgrades, if your last phone recontact is before (12 months)  you are not eligible for a phone.
