So well, the next gen iMacs may sport a more sophisticated cooling system due some time early next year.
I see the move a practical one since I used to own a 24" iMac 2.8GHz and I can tell you it does generate a small amount of heat. The heat source tends to be at the back of the huge screen and also the from the screen. If you're gonna spend lots of time on the iMac, be sure your room is well ventilated.
If you're looking for a fast desktop but not willing to spend on the MacPros, consider the new iMacs next year. The current crop of iMacs are value for money too. If you're particular about colors, get the 24" ones. They have better color depth than the 20" ones. You will appreciate the huge desktop space. Working on a magazine spread is a no problemo on the 24".
hope the cost is resonable though..
Wow. U disappeared for a good 8 months, welcome back.

In reality, pricing for Apple products has dropped considerably across the board. Now, anyone can own a Apple notebook under $1.6K. Besides, users have the best of both worlds in OS X & Windows now.
With every new release, the pricing will be lowered. It's safe to say the money paid for the every Mac is worth it. The experience is great, works right of the box, it's safe and easy to pickup.

So are u like back for good? Hows your business coming along? Good?
Can't say I'm back for good. Not that I have been away for too long anyways. haha.
Our small business on the net has been doing good for the first year. Interestingly, we have more customers from overseas than locals. The former tends to spend more.
