If the density of the air between the top of the mountain and the sea level is 1.2 kg m^-3, determine the height of the mountain top above sea level
ans is 1700m, but i dunno how to do... anyone can help?
Pressure at mountain top=(density)(G)(height)
=13,600*9.81*0.6
=80049.6Pa(Nm-2)
102000-80049.6=(density of air)(G)(height of mountain)
= 1864m
my ans diff cuz i use 9,81 as G, sorry.
