roughly there's a format, but when u get to read alot of business letters from other ppl, you will see there's NO "Standard Format" at all.
The way ppl place the date, can be anywhere.
They way they put Name and job title can be
"Mr.Tan Ku Ku,
Marketing Manager"
Or
"Mr. Tan Ku Ku, Marketing Manger"
And on the Dear line, so put full name, so put last name only.
Some put subject, some dont put.
So who is right who is wrong?
So who is there to judge which is the perfect format??
And does it really matter if i dont the date at place you expected?
That's for letters, for emails, it's even more casual..... forget about the formats.
when writing formal letter must use yours faithfully...Originally posted by eagle:usually just use yours sincerely
yours faithfully if you are a servant writing to a master
