Manufacturing Company in Spore

  For example like Maxtor, Seagate, HP
  
  Do they own the land or they just renting the land space for their company
  
  Coz i am trying to find out if rental increases in spore, will it affect them?
  
  If they own the land- think no right, but spore allow companies to own land?

  Of course they lease the land lah....either from JTC or HDB or someone else. But the gahmen, in order to attact them to stay here, will of course give attractive tax breaks, etc to incentivise them. Hence any increase in rentals of land is minimal.
  
  The greatest impact is when these incentives run out or rising wages. But given the peanuts that our workers earn, it also won't play much vis-a-vis their turnover.
  
  You can tell your teacher, land costs won't affect MNCs like them but Singaporeans like you and me who stay in HDB pigeon holes and work for MNCs or other companies....roger?
