  very easy,
  
  first you need to know how much is the part length on the bottom left side and bottom right side of the trapezium. i.e. from the top 10cm, and bottom 18cm, how much is left and how much is right.
  
  Use y1+y2 =8
  Also that the height is common, so take height as x,
  therefore, tan 14 = y1/x and tan 30 = y2/x
  rearrange to get x as the subject for the trigo equations.
  Sub y2=8-y1, to replace one of the unknowns y2.
  
  Then solve.
  
  You will have y1 (left) = 2.41282
  y2 (right)=5.58718
  
  Then you can solve all the questions already.
