  well haf to depend on what job u want to go to what rite?
  hmm duno whats applied maths....but stats is reading statistics, evaluating stats, giving suggestions on how to carry out surveys n stuff la...basically, its STATISTICS loh good for any job that requires u to collect n evaluate data
  
  accounting is recording of money in money out, record where, how to balance accounts to make sure every transaction is recorded properly...more for accounting onli
  
  econs is how consumers respond, how suppliers respond, how govt respond....got micro n macro econs...more for business

  On top of that, I feel that Accounting is more practical in today's world because of the demand and its relevency. What you learn is most probably what you'll be using in your work.
  
  For Economics, I feel that it is a some kind of analysing on the market, like how market response to different situation.

  Alot of times that i bumped to adverts for statistician, and they require someone who has 7-8 years of experience. That is for biostatistician. I'm not sure bout finance sector though.
