Anions attracted to Anode.
Then each anion lose 1 electron in the electrodes(Anode).
The electrons that are lost go where ah?Stored in the electrodes? goes to the cathode.
And another qn
Lets say starting electrolyte is Lead(II) Bromide.
Decomposed to lead and bromine at the end right..
Where will the lead and bromine be formed?Around the electrodes?Cant be in that same beaker of solution can it? depends on the electrode too. assuming non reacting electrode, oh- will discharge at anode. Same for H+ at cathode. Thus PbBr2 will be left throughout the solution till pure pbbr2 formed.
Thx all
