what does resistor do. (eg: limit the number of electrons???etc..)

What is voltage

The reistor doesnt affect the current? Why?
Resistor limits current, higher resistor lower current for the same amount of voltage...
V=IR, that is if there is only real power...
Voltage is electric potential energy per unit charge...
Resistor limits the current so it affect the current... if will only not affect the current if theres a open circuit at the resistor... of cause if it is an open circuit then the resistance of that path can said to be infinity thus no current will flow through it... example : during parallel circuit, more current flow through the smallest resistance and less current flow through the largest resistance...
