Hi do anyone has a list of acidic/basic oxides??

  ok i understand the concept between metals/non metals oxides but
  cause im quite confused although both examples like (nitrogen dioxide and nitrogen monoxide) but only nitrogen dioxide is acidic..?nitrogen monoxide is neutral ?

  Sulphur dioxide IS acidic.
  
  Acidic oxides are those covalent oxides (eg SiO2, SO3, SO2, NO2) while basic oxides are mainly ionic oxides (eg MgO, CaO, Na2O).
  
  However, there are some oxides that are amphoteric (acidic and basic). At O level, there are only 3: Zinc oxide, Lead Oxide and Aluminium Oxide. At A level, ionic oxides with a high degree of covalency are considered to be amphoteric.

  METALLIC oxides are either BASIC or AMPHOTERIC.
  But the amphoteric oxides which u need to know for O-levels are just:
  - ZnO
  - Al2O3
  - PbO
  
  So the rest will just be basic oxides.
  
  NON-METALLIC oxides are either ACIDIC or NEUTRAL.
  But the neutral oxides which u need to know for O-levels are just:
  - CO
  - H2O
  - NO
  
  So the rest will just be acidic oxides.
  
  Hm.
  Basically, just need to remember the exceptions?
  Follow this then your doubts should be cleared le bah?

  note where they lie on the periodic table while u read the list. ignore transition metals for this except Zn.
  Amphoteric - Be, Al, Ga, Sn, Pb, Zn(trans)
  left of this 'line' - basic
  right of this 'line' - acidic
