12 x 8 = AnsAOriginally posted by MinnieNotMouse:Paul would like to send a parcel to his friend in ABC country.
The freight charge is $8 per kg per km.
What is the total charge for sending the parcel weighing 12kg for 35km?
The problem is i don't understand the ''per kg per km'' so anyone cares to explain it for me? Thanks
ohh... ok thanksOriginally posted by Agenda:12 x 8 = AnsA
AnsA x 35 = Final Answer
think thats the answer..
per kg per km means for each kg that travels each km
means if i have 1 kg parcel and if i want to send to your house which is 2km away, using the $8 per kg per km rate. it would cost me $16
i think thats correct.

anyway, i thought if 8*12, the answer would be for 8 kg 8 km
den times 35 would be 280 kg 280 km ?
