SS i suppose is social studies right?
There are 2 part for SS
SBQ and SEQ
SBQ- source based question.
they will give you the source and ask you question...
There are a few different type of question...
Like, compare and contrast, reliability, usefulness etc etc...
SEQ
This is the part when you have to memories...
Firstly be sure which chapter they are talking...
Like for example if the question ask about healthcare in singapore, you need to know immediately which question.
Next important thing is timeline... Which year does the question wants? 1960s? 1970s? 1980? or 21st centries? this will make the ans A LOT different... you may get a zero is this is wrong...
After you know this 2 point, copy and paste... copy whatever you remember from your brain and paste it there... but, dun just blinding paste it...
First, normally such question will give you A factor to talk on... Explain that factor first then explain other factor...
Example, the given factor is CPF, then talk about CPF first then other thing like subsidies for low income group...
NOTE: remember to answer the question after you explain an factor! a lot of people miss this out!
For 12 marks question, conclusion is needed... But i don't know it there 12 marks question for N level or not...
Well we will do an example.
Question: "Promoting healthy lifestyle is the most important factor that lead to a healthy nation in the singapore during 1980s? Do you agree? explain your answer..."
Firstly, identify the chapter. In this case, heath care in singapore.
Secondly, timeline. 1980s in this case...
NOTE: 1980s in this chapter is also consider as 'today'... so if the question change the timeline to today, it refers to 1980s! Different chapter has different "today"!
Next explain given factor...
copy and paste "promoting healthy lifestlyle"...
Next
Explain other factors...
Copy and paste from your brain other factors...
Next.
Answer the bloody damn question--> conclusion...
well that about it...
