Any1 can help me? im taking h2 maths btw
There are a few main points that I know that can reduce carelessness in maths.
Some general ones.
1. Have at least 7 hours of sleep before u attempt to do any maths qns. U need to have a very clear mind in order to do maths and to reduce carelessness.
2. Don't do any maths qn before the exams. If you really want to study maths exam just minutes before the exam, just recall through your mind those qns that you have done which you previously wouldn't know how to do.
3. Read the calculator manual and understand how to use your calculator. Without a good tool, you can't score.
Regarding qns,
1. For identity type of qns or qns requiring you to prove, show your steps very clearly, step by step starting from either side to the other side.
2. For qns requiring you to evaluate and find the solutions, substitute the solutions back into the original eqn that you hve started on, check whether the solutions are correct.
Other tips.
1. Skip the qn if you really have no idea or plan of how to do. You wouldn't want to waste time thinking for this qn.
2. Practise more. Look at those qns that are different or those qns that you don't know how to do. Remember the way to do it.
Lastly, gd luck for the exams.
