Self determination was implemented but it was not when it came to dealing with German territories
Germany slapped with controversial war guilt clause so as to justify reparations
Military wise, Germany to be kept weak so as not to threaten other nations.However,German army reduced to volunteer troops so small that it cant even protect her own interests and maintain internal security.
My pts mite be slightly diff from the elec hist syllabus coz me doin full hist... -

from wad i know, Hitler killed lots of Jews..n they r very intelligent ppl as well..
so i tink more/less he reduced their threat there..
another tink was Hitler fully controlled all forms of media such as radio, tv, newspaper etc..
so in short, he controlled wad info to be published to e public to read/know..

uhm shld be lack of resources bah..
as back den, there r lots of mountainous areas in Japan cum vast increase in their population..so it directly led to a great demand on food n raw minerals..
there4, they had no choice but to atk others for their own nids..

uhm i tink e Allied at tat pt of time was busy defending their own homeland..
n so they abandoned their colonies in e asia pacific area..
thus they failed to stop e war in Asia..

There is alot for Japan. I did japan for my EOY exam.
1)limited power of the diet
2) lack of prestige due to corruption
3) weak handling of economy problems. silk prices droped to 1/5 the original price..etc
4)showa restoration
5)patriotic societies
6)military's influence.
7) manchuria, mukden incident etc.. glory, prestigous
8 ) economy problems, high taxes placed.
9) look down on japan as second rate power. No clause of equal race in lon covanant
The pts are not really impt. Its about the elaboration and that you have to work yourself seriously. No point being lazy and all.
The way you ask these qns.....
you say you got SOME qns that you dont know. Thats more like everything. And there are so many qns that are simliar, some even require the same knowledge (PEE) just that Link would be diffferent....
Back to topic, for elaboration, its about being able to UNDERSTAND in and out the pts and chapter as a whole. Only then would you be able to explain with the flow of thought. With this flow of thought, you wouldnt really need to memorise anything at all. Cos it will come naturally.

4) First of all, Hitler was a very charismatic person, you can see him in his public rally speeches. He always talks with passion and energy. I think that was what attracted people to Hitler.
They used propaganda and occult idealogies. They made the German people think that they are part of the Aryan race, a race that is the purest and most intelligent.
The Nazi party burned down the Reichstag (Parliament) and put the blame on the Communist party that was also contesting for power. This allowed Hitler to declare a state of emergency and gain total control.
Economy wise... Hitler brought Germany out of poverty, he gave people jobs by starting up his war factories and breaking the Treaty of Versailles.
5)This is how i would write.. Hitler was a great leader whom managed to unite battered Germany which had been shamed after signing the Treaty of Versailles. The poverty stricken country which was near bankruptcy, was saved by Adolf Hitler through the breaking of the treaty of versailles and starting up his war factories, creating his war machines. This gave people jobs and hope.
But however, we must not overlook the atrocities that he had committed during the time he was in power. He passed the nuremberg laws which deprived German Jews of their rightful citizenship and authorised the numerous extermination and labour camps across Europe such as Aushwitz. Millions of people died through the systematic "Final Solution to the Jewish Question". Gas bunkers and incinerators are purposely built to gas Jews, gyspies and others that were considered unpure or not aryan. -
