h1 econs or physics?

i gotta drop either one due to my D for math. (must get 4 C's to continue with 4 H2)
which one is more "useless"? -
econs is more useless. If you want you can study on your own. Next time if you still want to pursue a degree in economics, you can still take up. There's no need for you to have A level Econs to take up econs course at university.
As for physics, you will need it to get into some engineering and physics course at uni. -
h1 physics will be use for uni admission to engineering course? i don think so right.

maybe i should make it clear i'm not interested in engineering. i believe its quite boring...i prefer finance sector related degrees...

if i were u, i would have chosen physics. i feel that its much easier to score, very difficult to fail also. once u get the concepts right, acing it is no prob

i would say appeal to keep them because you will usually do better for As
I got C for physics for my promos you know? C for econs too. But in the end, I still score well for both during A levels -
To add on, I feel that year 2 econs is easier than year 1. In essays, or short passages, there are more rubbish to write for macro economics
Even for physics, it is only after you learn J2 physics that you really begin to understand what you studied in J1. And since you will touch on mechanics in H2 maths, it is possible to score better for physics. -

no econs = uni still can take econs and business course. somemore your choice is wider with physics.
no physics = kiss gdbye to engineering courses. -

ask brother paul to let you keep the 4 H2s. use your track record to show that u've done well in the past ( if you did), and that you can prove yourself at the A levels.
in my honest opinion, econs is not a particularly useful subject at A levels.
I'm doing an undergraduate course in econs, and I feel taking F Maths (old syllabus) would have been much, much more useful than A Level Econs.
If you interested in doing finance/econs/biz/accounts... take a subject you can score in... that's my opinion. since there are no academic requirements for these courses at the local unis (maybe except Maths @ A levels)... but they're grade-competitive, thus the more As the merrier. -

Seriously...H1 econ=H2 econ...same amount of work...regretted taking only H1 econ...H1 paper=H2 paper with 2 less essay only... If you like econ then take H2
