ALCL3 is considered triangular planar shape right, considering it is more fo a covalent substance since AL is grp 3 transitional element and F is very electro negative. Damn NS has made me stupid.

F2O, i think it is the shape will be like H2O, a triangular pyramidal with the lone pair electrons one ontop and the other at one of the corner of the triangular base. but F2O will have a smaller angle between the 2 F moleculse as the electrons are pulled more towards the 2 F atoms.
