i tot v1 is larger than v2 since current is the same??

In a series circuit, the current through both resistors are always the same.
As for voltage/potential difference, they will be different because they have different resistance. Depending on your level. For A level, use your ratio resistance over total resistance. For O level, just use any value for the current and multiply by the resistance to get the pd across each resistor. In any case, V1 will be less than V2 cos R1 less than R2.
