what do you guys think about paper2?
i think it was fairly simple and doable... (phew
)
data-based has a couple of weird questions but those taking chem should have no problem understanding (and almost everyone taking physics is taking chem)
oh yah, can i use unpolarised/polarised in the same plane for the condition for water waves?
i only learnt 4 conditions (amplitude, coherence, aperture, polarisation) but aperture cannot be used in this case... -
i have no idea, i just put they shld have identical wavelengths. crap guess.
the back part was crap. i couldnt do the last few marks about the oxygen and proton. and yes the data qn especially the A and B constant one?
anyway, wat did you all get for the waves qn? number of constructive lines between the 2 lines or sumthing like tat. -

1. Errors and Uncertainties - no problem with this question, except I realised I've got a careless mistake after the paper >
2. Electric field - dunno how to do the last 1 mark, the overestimation/underestimation of p.d. one
3. Waves - forgot the definition of progressive wave!!!
4. Nuclear physics - no problem
5. Data analysis - dunno how to do the B/r^8 thingy, and the last three marks of the question just crapped out something heh, rest were okay, I hope.

i drew lines to join all the places where wavefronts cross (crest meet crest = constructive) and there were 7

according to my friends, they got 3 maximas instead of 7. -

the minima is between two maxima, where there are no intersection of wavefronts -

since tetha is in degrees, the answer in metres = 1000 * theta/180 * pi
= 17.5 R tetha -
