Is it a "regular" subject? Like u mug everything and know your stuff and u get your A?Originally posted by akinos:Well... what u guys study in sec sch now will have abit of relevance in JC. For example, u guys will learn more in depth about Cold War and something new called Global Economy or Religious Fundamentalism in JC. some schs will spot the syllabus for u. As for SEA history, u will learn all abot ASEAN, Challanges to Independence for SEA states, Decolonisation Process for SEA states and Interstates Tension. Same for SEA, some schs will spot the syllabus for u. it is content heavy and be prepared.
*edit* oh yes. for H2 history. if u wan to score A. u must have at least 10 dates in ur essay, a few historian quotes, evidence of further reading and nice topic and echo sentences + conclusion. CONCLUSION is the most IMPORTANT sentence to score A. more than 4 pages, more than 5 body paragraphs.![]()
since its content heavy, u rmb and remember everything can give u a B. A is really depend on ur language and writing skills le, like wat i just said in the 2nd paragraph.Originally posted by lpx88:Is it a "regular" subject? Like u mug everything and know your stuff and u get your A?

*edit* especially National Unity and Asian Financial Crisis.
ok... let me explain my situation first. for SEA H2 history, my school spotted the syllabus for us. so we only learn Challenges to Independence and Decolonisation Process. the sch left out for us Interstate Tensions.Originally posted by lpx88:About how many chapters/essays must u memorise for the exams ah?
Oh...Is it very challenging to get an A?Originally posted by akinos:And Section B is out of 5, choose 3 to do. Section A is sourced Based.
so u have 3 hours to finish 4 essays. each essay 45 mins and they must 4 pages with sufficiently accurate content to secure a pass.
