  My advice. If you are going for an arts course. With no arts background. First, you are going to suffer. Second, it'll be better to go to arts schools. JC A-Level arts is... useless.

  True. i find history interesting..but SEA his3 can die also...abit 2 hardcore...Which is why im thinkin of takin jus hist H1...

  H1 history is still as content heavy. u still learn about International History same as all the H2, its just that u dun learn SEA.
  
  going to arts stream, prepare to mug alot especially economics and history. literature is no joke either same goes for science(bcoz u have to take a contrasting subject) as well..
  
  there is no easier stream, it depends on individual preference.

  econs need to mug alot meh? i'm looking at the H2 syllabus, and I think it's pretty watered down from the stuff I took wih the old syllabus. I feel Histroy, Geog are more 'content heavy' subjects
  
  to TS, any plans for the future, since you're considering doing Arts stream in JC?

  Hmm...Since im doing H2 Econs and Maths..most likely next time go into financial sector lo...yea...Dont really know wad i can do with history and lit in the future

  Biz/Finance has always been an interesting field. Although Hist/Lit has no practical use when applying for a uni course (maybe grant u a few exemptions for electives)... but i feel the prac crit skills u learn in Lit for example, can really be useful when u do courses in Finance or Accounting where you examine financial reports. I feel humanities provide the intellectual and analytical skill set that can still be valuable in yr future studies.
