  1.7g/cm3 = ______kg/m3
  
  My answer turns out to be 1700 but I have the impression it's a wrong one. Can someone properly explain to me on how to derive on the right answer?

  1.7g=0.0017kg
  
  1cm=0.01m
  1cm*1cm=0.01m*0.01m=0.0001m2
  1cm*1cm*1cm=0.000001m3
  
  Therefore 0.0017kg/0.000001m3=1700kg/m3

  you know water's density is 1g/cm3
  Water's density is also 1000kg/m3
