  now .. the O level syllabus has changed for the current secondary 4 pupils. but what about the sec 5s ? we are still taking the old syllabus and no one gives a rat ass ... no TYS no nothing. what the hell .. theres this principal that told her sec 5 students to not waste their time and just go to ITE ... but what is anyone doing to help. maybe i am wrong . maybe there is TYS for the old series .. but none i can find in the bookshop or anything. is it just because we are the minority ??? anyway if there is im sorry. but ya just wanted to voice my opinion.

  Current Sec 5 most likely will be having the old O level syllabus.

  You can only help yourself. Come to Homework forum if you encounter any problems with your schoolwork, I strongly believe that the moderators and forumers will help you.

  Mind post your subjects combination? So that I can try to see if I have any books to recommend you.

  Don't bother about what your principal said, just do your best in everything in life.

  im sec 5 and i prefer the old syllabus

  if we take the old syllabus, we are challenging among sec5s, which means our chance of scoring distinction is high

  if we take the same syllabus as those sec 4, we are going to die

  Actually more or less the same.

   

  For Sci(Chem), they rip one chapter off, and add some small details.

  For Sci(Bio), The chapter Genetics is added in, also include DNA.

  Huh? What the hell? I'm secondary 4 this year and the TYS are currently still unavailable. I went to popular, school bookshop, book stores and there are not TYS/guide books for my syllabus and all that I can was old syllabus.
