hi all, i would like to ask wheather is there such a course called engineering in NTU? n may i know the syllabus? coz' when i saw this course, there is no such info abt this course
vexed... why does it seems like everyone do very well this year? o.O *sigh*
aiyo dun be disheartened.. at least there r plp worse off la.. i gt straight Cs for my A lvl except a B for PW.. yes i was emo for the 1st few daes bt i realised life have to go on... no point being vexed
engineering.. in nus i heard is basic engineering for 1st year.. but 2nd year will have to pick which engineering you want to go to.. wonder does that makes a difference if i pick the exact course or the basic one.. o.O
well, NTU and NUS probably work the same way, basic engin then specialise... for NTU , they have this general engineering for those who can't decide which specialised course to go.... so after the 1st yr basic course, they can choose to go to the other specialised course... the bad thing abt general engin is tt it will be competitive and if u dun perform well in the 1st yr, the specialised course u go to in 2nd yr will be something u dun like
any idea of what are the not so "hot" courses in nus and ntu?

In 2004, NUS changed to allow direct intake into the specialised engineering course that you want. I don't think they changed it since...
i got BBC GPC6, pw band 3 isit enuff to get a place in local uni?
How to calculate the cut off point
Haiz, confirmed that my PW results out on this Friday for every school... so worried
i was pretty disappointed in my grades.
cut off point changes every year and oni the uni knows the cut off pt. No point calculating... Think of what you wan to do and apply.
After than go pray Guan Yin Mah, do some charity work, sprinkle some holy water over yourself and hope for the best.
the season is over and this thread shall be de-sticked, locked.
will discuss abt A level result in 2009 early march again~
