Draw the graphs of the functions y = x and y = 1/x on the same diagram for -5</= x </5
State the coordinates of the intersecting points of the 2 graphs. Answer's (-1,-1) and (1,1). Can someone briefly draw out how the graph looks like and the line y=x?
thanks!
i'm plotting from 0<x<2 for you to have an idea first...

Eh, yea I do know how to draw them separately. I just am not sure what the question is asking for.

draw on the same graph?
May I know how you get a straight line for y=x? and how do you get the plotting points for y=x?

Dont be a troll k?
y=x means for eg 10=10, 5=5, 2.5=2.5, -1=-1, -100000=-100000, 0=0
