Question about private science practicals

  Hi, i took o levels in 2010 and got my results in 2011, but now im intending to retake O level science practicals. To my knowledge if i want to retake sciences as a private candidate, i would need to have lessons in practical. My question is where am i able to apply or find institutions or places that offer the lessons in science practicals only.

  You already have Practical experience (from taking O levels in 2011). So you may retake your private O levels in 2013 without being enrolled in a private institution for this purpose.

  (Even if a student didn't have prior Practical experience, just go ahead and declare 'yes'. Nobody actually checks.)

  But my experience in 2011 was a combined science practical. Now I'm attempting pure sciences practicals. Does this make a difference now?

  As I said, admin wise, nobody checks. Take private lessons only if you're worried about not getting a good grade on your own, instead of doing it for the sake of admin purposes.

  The difficulty will be different.

  Why not seek help from your previous secondary school teacher?

  I'm just worried for the admin part. Grades wise I'm somewhat confident i can score a good grade.

   

  Yeap I'm asking my previous teachers for notes and guides. Also looking through this forum for anything that could help me :)

  Hi, I think there are some private institutes such as BMC that have science labs. I do not know whether you can just use their labs for a fee or whether you need to take a package deal with them to have practical lessons with them. You check out Straits Times Classifieds for such institutes.
