The Chinese song "Qing Fei De Yi" popularized by Harlem Yu, was actually written (ie. music composed, not lyrics) by a Malaysian songwriter Tang Xiao Kang, who was never recognized by the public for his talents, as all his songs were sung by other singers.

Btw, Harlem Yu (the singer who popularized "Qing Fei De Yi" mentioned in preceding post) was also a judge in "Voice of China", who (in the following episode) together with judges Yang Kun and Liu Huan (who also judged in "Sing My Song"), chose contestant singer Xu HaiXing who performed a cover of (USA/HK/Taiwan) Coco Lee (Li Wen)'s "Self" (Chinese version of "Reflections" by American composer Matthew Wilder, a soundtrack used in Disney's animated movie "Mulan"), but contestant Xu HaiXing's cover is in some ways *even better* than Coco Lee's already excellent version.

[Singapore] - Family of 7 live on $1,300 a month. Some people call sole breadwinners like Mr Ong Leong Hock the "sandwiched class" because they have young children to take care of and elderly parents to support. But Mr Ong, 49, is literally sandwiched between his wife and three daughters (aged 4, 12 and 13) on two beds joined together in a room every night. His family of five would squeeze in a room because the other room in their three-room flat is occupied by his parents. To make ends meet, Mr Ong puts in long hours as a cooked food stall assistant. He starts work at the economical rice stall at the nearby Kovan Hougang market and food centre at 7am and knocks off at 9pm on weekdays. Yet he brings in only $1,300 a month, barely enough to provide for all seven family members. So his 73-year-old mother, until recently, has been working as a cleaner to supplement the household income. Last week, she quit her $1,000 a month cleaning job to help care for her husband, 80, who has lung and heart problems, diabetes and other chronic medical conditions.

[Vietnam] - Singaporean Ju-Jitsu expert uses his martial arts to rob and kill victims in Vietnam. The Vietnamese news article claims the murderer is a member of Ju-Jitsu Association (Singapore), which is based on Japanese Ju-Jitsu rather than Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, (which itself originated from Japanese Ju-Jitsu but surpassed it for 1-on-1 combat ; for 1-vs-many combat, JJJ is still more useful than BJJ).

While Fish Hunter isn't the most complex or sophisticated game available today, but it's not realistic to expect elderly folks to appreciate cutting edge games, and while any addiction is non-productive, it could be much worse if these elderly folks were instead addicted to the RWS or MBS casinos. And Louis Ng would be relieved that these folks aren't fishing actual real fish (a karmically cruel sport where the sharp metal hooks of fishing lines excruciatingly pierce through the top of the fish's mouths, then thrown back into the sea to die a slow agonizing death).
