The ang moh was caught on camera riding an electric scooter and cutting across several lanes of the road, hogging a bus lane, and beating a traffic light. All this at during the 6.30pm peak hour traffic at South Bridge Road. One driver said he was “smiling away when I drove past him.� Subsequently, the driver said he spotted the ang moh fist-fighting with a McDonald’s deliveryman at a traffic junction.

This is a problem worldwide with China tourists. The problem is not being greedy, the problem is being greedy *and* wasteful (ie. not finishing all the expensive seafoods and meats they kiasu-ly pile up on their plates). Previously, most restaurants didn't charge for wastage. Now with kiasu behaviour form China tourists, most restaurants now charge for wastage, as they well should.

As I've said time and time again, being a MOE teacher is the 2nd most overworked and underpaid job in Singapore, after nursing. But I still encourage interested JC students to consider a career in teaching, just don't stay in there forever.

Rape is rape, but whether the two men were homosexual to begin with, does make a difference to the nature of the rape. It's atrocity enough if they were homosexual to begin with, let alone if they weren't. Rapes are more common in militaries (for obvious sex deprivation reasons, just like how religiously oppressed countries have higher incidences of sex crimes), but thankfully it's generally rarer in the SAF than in the British and American armies (if for no other reason than sheer size difference, another ironical advantage of being a small country).
