"Once, I spontaneously agreed to be driven to a “crepe party by my host, who was over 30, drove a branded car and was in the medical industry. He said he was driving me to his friend’s place to have crepes, — sure, why not? — and the road was getting darker, quieter and deeper. I resisted against letting my imagination run wild, and focused on keeping light conversation. I couldn’t help but notice he brought a bottle of red wine along..."

The article makes reference to this video of the Minister mocking the English speaking reporter :
In the minds of the majority of Malaysian Malays, the answer is unfortunately the racist one. Unlike Singapore, where every Singaporean agrees that Singapore belongs to Singaporeans (and not one particular race), in contrast, the majority of Malaysian Malays choose to imagine that Malaysia belongs only to the Malays, that only Malays are the true Malaysians, and that the other races, the Chinese and Indians, are invaders and the 'bad guys'.
The over-identification with genetic race and the physical body, is indicative of the level of spiritual evolution of the souls who hold such an unethical view, and allowing oneself to hold such an unethical view and to cause harm (directly through one's interactions, and indirectly by passively supporting the unethical racist policies of Malaysian government) to the other races, is also (ala chicken & egg) limiting the personal spiritual evolution of these people.
As with the whites versus blacks racism that America has lived through (and for a minority of Americans, continue to struggle with), Malaysian Malays who are racist will incur such karma, and will have to be reincarnated into future lifetimes where they are the victims of the same racist hatred that they inflicted upon others in this lifetime.

Malaysian Chinese Janet Lee posted :
"One of my closest friend is a malay.. When we are out walking in the mall, people would stare at us because a chinese is friends with a malay. Or a malay is friends with a chinese. We shouldn't view each other differently and differentiate ourselves base on colour. We live in the same country for years.. why are we still fighting base on something something which is only an outward appearance? We're all still the same. All of us are just humans. "
Spoken like a Singaporean, Janet Lee. Malaysia needs more people (of all races) like yourself. *thumbs up*
If you're a respectful person, you'll respect others, regardless of their socio-economic standing. A person who treats others differently based on their socio-economic standing, is a bigot.
